The Omen Horror Advance Recalled
Original vintage teaser movie poster for the British American Satanic Antichrist horror thriller film The Omen "You are one day closer to the end of the world" featuring an image against a dark background of the boy Damien with a red glow behind him and his shadow shaped like a cross stretching down to the slogan in white with the title in red featuring 666 in the O - Coming this Summer from Twentieth Century Fox. This rare A style teaser poster that was recalled almost immediately due to outrage from religious leaders at the sacrilegious portrayal of an upside-down cross (the replacement teasers were issued with a less controversial wolf shadow). Omen was directed by Richard Donner and starred Gregory Peck, Lee Remick, David Warner and Harvey Spencer Stephens (as Damien). Litho in U.S.A. Good condition, folds, creases on fold lines and margins.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
