Original vintage advertising poster for an event organised by the Zurich specialty shops association from 15-30 November 1931 - Vereinigung Zurcher Spezialgeschafte Der Weg Zur Qualitat Ratselraten der Zurcher Blaupunkt-Geschafts / The Path to Quality - featuring an Art Deco design showing a figure walking down a path towards the horizon led by blue points above, the logo and text in white in the first blue point and the tagline with the rest of the information below. Artwork by the Swiss artist Emil Alfred Neukomm (1906-1948). Founded over 100 years ago VZS is a non-profit group of retail businesses and services promoting specialised shopping in Zurich Switzerland. Large size. Very good condition, minor creasing in margin, restored tear in top left corner.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
