Original vintage poster published by the General Post Office GPO to encourage people to write the full address when posting a letter - "To Everybody! Everywhere! Write the full address with care, Let this always be your aim, Don't forget The County Name." - featuring a great design by the notable graphic designer Zero (Hans Schleger; 1898-1976) of a small figure of a man looking up at the rhyme set out like an address on a large stamped envelope marked "Personal!" postmarked London 1942. Printed for HM Stationery Office by Stafford & Co., Ltd., Netherfield, Nottingham. Horizontal. Very good condition, restored minor loss on margins, backed on linen.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
