Original vintage movie poster for a Soviet civil war film Two Comrades Were Serving (Служили два товарища) directed by Yevgeni Karelov starring Oleg Yankovsky, Rolan Bykov, Anatoli Papanov and Vladimir Vysotsky. Great design featuring sketched faces of two of the characters in black with the stylised title text in white in the centre with a row of bullets against a red background, the rest of the text above and below in black letters. Good condition, small tears on margins.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
