Original vintage movie poster for a two part Soviet film The Legend of Till / Легенда о Тиле based on the 1867 novel The Legend of Till Ullenspiegel and Lamme Goedzak by the Belgian novelist Charles De Coster (1827-1879) featuring a stained glass window style design with a black and white illustration of Thyl riding a donkey along a street and raising his hand in a greeting in front of a shining sun in the centre with supporting characters from the film depicted on the sides with a ship flying flags, a burning flame torch and a guard in armour holding a sword by his side, the credits and text on the other red and yellow panes and on the black border above. Fair condition, folds, staining, tears, repaired tears.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
