Original vintage movie poster for the American supernatural horror film The Exorcist adapted by William Peter Blatty from his 1971 novel inspired by the 1949 exorcism of Roland Doe, directed by William Friedkin and starring Ellen Burstyn, Linda Blair, Max von Sydow and Jason Miller. Iconic black and white design depicting a man standing in a street lit up by the house windows and street lights set against a black background with the title above and slogan below: "Something almost beyond comprehension is happening to a girl on this street, in this house ...and a man has been sent for as a last resort. This man is The Exorcist." Artwork by the notable film poster artist Bill Gold (1921-2018). Good condition, restored folds, backed on linen.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
