Join the Territorial Army - featuring a colourful design by the painter Lance Cattermole (1898-1992), depicting modern British Army soldiers in uniform, one infantryman holding a bayonet gun and two manning a Bren machine gun in front of an image of an historic Elizabethan soldier with a beard and moustache holding a sword and a flag with the England Cross of St George on it against the cloudy sky background, the crown TA badge and text above and rest of the text on the grass background below. Previously the Territorial Force (1908-1921), the volunteer Territorial Army was formed in 1921 to support the British Armed Forces (renamed the Army Reserve in 2014). Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?

Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
