Original vintage Soviet propaganda poster promoting a healthy lifestyle to Young Pioneers encouraging them to help keep their home clean and pursue sporting activities for fitness and well-being. Great design featuring two children on an icy lake in front of a silver birch tree with the young boy helping to tie the ice skating boot laces of the young girl on the side of various images showing children taking part in different practical and physical activities, including doing the laundry, washing the dishes and moping the floor, and taking part in sports including running, gymnastics, cross-country skiing and swimming, with captions under each image and set against a winter blue background with the text above and below. The Young Pioneers was a Soviet youth organisation similar to the Boy Scouts and Girl Guides. Fair condition, folded as issued, creases on fold lines, tears in margins.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
