Original vintage PanAm travel poster - Skyway to Inca Land It's a Small World by Pan American Airways - featuring a great design depicting people in colourful clothing standing at Macchu Picchu with their llamas and watching a Pan Am plane fly over the ancient ruins and rocky mountains with the snow topped Andes mountains visible in the distance. The historic 15th century Inca citadel Machu Picchu is located above the Sacred Valley on a 2,430m mountain ridge in Cusco Peru South America and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. Pan American Airways (1927-1991) became the unofficial flag carrier of America and an iconic 20th century airline company. Are your posters originals?
All our antique and vintage posters, books, maps and prints listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
