Original vintage Soviet movie poster for a silent adventure film Savur-Mogila / Савур-могила (On the Labour Front / From the Tales of Our Days) directed by Ivane Perestiani and starring Pavel Yesikovsky, Sofia Jozeffi and Kador Ben-Salim; a sequel to the 1923 silent film Red Devils / Красные дьяволята based on the story by Pavel Blyakhin. Bold constructivist design featuring images of the main characters smiling in white circles against a green and black striped background with the stylised title text above, credits on both sides and the production company Georgian Film below. Good condition, restored tears, small restored paper losses in margins, staining, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
