Opened in 1571 by Queen Elizabeth I the Royal Exchange in London was founded by the English merchant and financier Sir Thomas Gresham with the Welsh merchant Richard Clough as a centre of commerce for the City of London, owned by the City of London and Worshipful Company of Mercers. Good condition, restored paper losses, restored tears, staining, backed on linen.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
