Original vintage World War Two recruitment poster for the Royal Canadian Air Force - Moi aussi, je suis de l'equipe Enrolez vous dans les corps d'elite de la RCAF / Me too I'm in the team Enrol in the elite corps of the RCAF - featuring a dynamic design depicting a lady in a smart blue uniform in front of a row of pilots with Air Force planes flying overhead, set against a yellow shaded background with the stylised text above and information with the RCAF maple leaf roundel logo below. Founded in 1924 the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF; Aviation Royale Canadienne ARC) was the first Canadian armed service to recruit women to join the war effort (known as WDs); the Canadian Women's Auxiliary Air Force CWAAF was established in 1941, changing its name to the Royal Canadian Air Force Women's Division in 1942; the corps was disbanded in 1946 and women were able to join the RCAF from 1951. Very good condition, creasing, tears.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
