Great illustration by Henry Thelander (1902-1986) of a fisherman with a white beard, dressed in blue and wearing a hat, smoking a pipe with fishing boats sailing on the sea behind him, the text below in stylised letters withe the Randers logo. Founded in 1840, Randers is a Danish company that manufactures steel ropes and wires. Printed by Egmont H. Petersen, Copenhagen. Very good condition, small tear in left margin and waving in top margin.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
