The Trossachs is a wooded area of glens, hills and lochs located in the Scottish Highlands. Founded in 1913 W. Alexander & Sons was a bus manufacturer and operator of motor coach tours, becoming the largest bus operator in Scotland before the company was split up in 1961 and rebranded. Published by the British Transport Commission in Scotland. Good condition, restored tears, small restored paper loss in bottom left corner, staining, backed on linen.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
