Original vintage travel poster Visit Sardinia / Visitate la Sardegna issued by the Italian National Tourist Board ENIT along with the provincial tourism entities of Cagliari, Nuoro, and Sassari - Design by the prominent Italian painter and graphic designer Domenico "Mino" Delle Site (1914–1996) features a hole in the wall shaped in the outline of the Mediterranean island revealing an ancient stone Nuraghe tower, a man and woman clad in vibrant traditional Sardinian festive costumes riding together on a grey horse, and a white lamb carrying a colourful bunch of flowers in its mouth. Printed in Rome by Luigi Salamone. Good condition, restored folds, large restored tears through image, staining, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
