Original vintage West Africa travel poster for Togo produced by the Office National Togolais du Tourisme in Lome featuring a colourful design by the notable Togolese artist Paul Ahyi (1930-2010) depicting a stylised illustration of a traditional Togolese dancer in a decorative pink, green, red and yellow geometric patterned costume dancing on an orange background, the bold title text below. The sculptor, painter and architect Paul Ahyi designed the national flag of Togo and created major monuments in the capital city of Lome. Printed by Monegasque, Monte Carlo. Good condition, creasing, small tears, minor staining.

What is a lithograph?

Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
