Original vintage 3D aerial view map poster designed by Ann Marshall depicting the South Kensington campus of the Royal College of Art showing reference letters marking the Darwin Building and outposts in the V&A Museum (Graphic Design, Illustration, Printmaking and Painting), Queensgate (Sculpture and Film) and Cromwell Road (Fashion) in red as well as other buildings and roads in the area including Imperial College London, the Albert Memorial in Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, Royal Albert Hall, Queens Tower, the Science Museum, Natural History Museum and Victoria and Albert Museum, Exhibition Road, Cromwell Road and Queen's Gate, a compass point above with the scale around the margin - Scale 1:1250 1 minute's walk / 100 metres. The RCA Royal College of Art was founded in 1837. Developed from the proceeds of the Great Exhibition in 1951, this area around Exhibition Road of educational universities and cultural museums is known as Albertopolis after Prince Albert's 1850s vision for the arts and sciences. What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
