Sabena Belgium Atomium
Original vintage travel advertising poster - Nach Belgien mit Sabena Belgische Fluglinien / Belgium by Sabena Belgian Airlines - featuring a fantastic mid-century design depicting an image of passengers in front of a helicopter and a plane flying over a city skyline with a church spire and historic buildings below a silhouette of the modernist Atomium structure on the colourful background, the text below. Sabena (Societe Anonyme Belge d'Exploitation de la Navigation Aerienne; 1923-2001), was the national airline of Belgium. The Atomium was designed by the engineer Andre Waterkeyn and architects Andre and Jean Polak for the 1958 Brussels World's Fair. Very good condition, minor staining, repaired tears, backed on linen.

FAQs
More information about our posters and service.
Are your posters originals?
All antique and vintage posters listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
