Original vintage sports poster promoting the 1968 NCAA Ski Championships held from March 21-23 in Steamboat Springs Colorado - Design features a stylised alpine skier set against a spiralling psychedelic background of vibrant pink and turquoise blue stripes. The event was hosted by Denver University, Colorado Alpine College, and the Air Force Academy. Below are logos for Frontier Airlines and Steamboat Springs. Very good condition, creasing, tears.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
