Original vintage Soviet anti-colonial propaganda poster Hold the Colonisers to Account! / Колонизаторов - к ответу! Design features a trio of men including an African, Arab and Soviet worker gripping the collar of a Western soldier whose military helmet is labelled "Colonisers" as he holds a blood-stained dagger. Bold slogan in red and black script across the top alongside protest placards in English, Russian, and Arabic that directly reference the Congo Crisis and the assassination of Patrice Lumumba, including slogans like "We Mourn for Lumumba," "Africa Must Live," and "Remove Hammarskjöld." Good condition, repaired tears, creasing, staining, backed on linen.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
