Original vintage British Army recruitment poster - It's tough ... but it's fun in the Territorial Army - depicting a soldier in military uniform climbing up rope netting with the bold white and yellow lettering on a red background below. Formed as the Territorial Force in 1908 and now called the Army Reserve the Territorial Army TA (1921-1967) is a volunteer force that supports the British Army. Prepared for the War Office by the Central Office of Information. Printed by Multi Machine Plates Ltd, London. Very good condition, minor creasing, minor staining, some small tears.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
