The American Red Cross ARC was formed in 1881 as non-profit humanitarian organisation founded by the American Civil War nurse Clara Barton (Clarissa Harlowe Barton; 1821-1912); during WWI the ARC supported Allied civilian relief efforts overseas, raising $400 million and providing aid such as food, housing, and medical assistance. Good condition, repaired tears, staining, minor creasing, printing errors, backed on linen.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
