Founded by Orson Welles and John Houseman the independent Mercury Theatre (1937-1946) in New York produced plays and motion pictures as well as radio programmes; the actors listed are Joseph Cotten, Everett Sloane, George Coulouris, Paul Stewart, Erskine Sanford, Dorothy Comingore, Ray Collins, William Alland, Ruth Warrick and Agnes Moorehead. Printed in the USA. Good condition, several restored paper losses, restored tears, restored folds, staining, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?
All antique and vintage posters listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
