Original antique Swedish movie poster for the 1919 silent French comedy film The Little Cafe / Lilla Kafeet / Le Petit Café directed by Raymond Bernard and starring the French comedian Max Linder as Albert Loriflan, a millionaire who lost a bet and is working as a waiter, featuring an Art Deco style image depicting a waiter in black and white carrying a tray with a bottle and two glasses on it, a cloth under his other arm, set on a white background with the leading actor's name in white on red above and the rest of the text with the title in bold red text on black below. Printed by Zetterlund & Thelanders Boktryckeri, Stockholm. Good condition, folds, creasing, tears, minor staining.

What is a lithograph?

Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
