Original vintage movie poster for a 1926 silent black and white adventure film - Дело No 128 / Delo No. 128 / Case Number 128 - directed by Arnold Kordyum and starring Leonid Barbe, Dmitriy Fedorovskiy, Sergei Minin, V. Poddubnyi and B. Shelestov-Zauze, featuring a dynamic Constructivist design depicting a man on a telephone on a green background, another man holding a book on a black background on the side and two men in blue and black walking below, the title text diagonally in bold white letters on a blue background and Совкино Москва / Sovkino Moscow logo on the side. The film is set during and after the Civil War and tells a story about a Red Army soldier who is looking to track down a former White Guard who was supposed to be shot, but who he set free. Good condition, repaired tears, restored paper loss in bottom right corner, small paper losses in margins, folds, creasing, backed on old linen.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
