Original vintage Swedish movie poster for the American romantic action drama film The Corsican Brothers / Korsikanska Broderna directed by Colin Campbell and starring the silent film star Dustin Farnum (1874-1929) featuring a colourful illustration of two men standing side by side, one wearing a smart white tie / tuxedo suite and the other wearing ceremonial dress of a cropped jacket, sash belt and high boots holding a sword in front of a red circle on white background, the leading actor's name in bold stylised lettering above and the title and rest of the text on the black background below. This black and white film adaptation of the 1844 novel The Corsican Brothers / Les Freres Corses by the French writer and playwright Alexandre Dumas (1802-1870) tells a story about Siamese twins Fabien and Louis de Franchi who are separated at birth but can still feel each other's physical emotions so, when one is killed in a duel the other returns to avenge his death. Good condition, folds, creasing, tears, minor staining, small paper losses.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
