Original vintage Dutch architectural exhibition poster for Tentoonstelling Architektuur Stedebouw CCCP/USSR 1917-1933 designed by the acclaimed graphic designer Paul Schuitema (1897-1973), advertiseing an exhibition on Soviet architecture and urban planning hosted at the Technische Hoge School Department of Architecture in Delft from 24 November 1969 to 10 January 1970, the poster features a powerful constructivist-inspired layout dominated by stylised red letters C and A, possibly for Советская Архитектура / Soviet Architecture, set against a crisp white background. Printed by Dijkman, The Hague. Good condition, repaired tears, creasing, folds, minor staining.

What is a lithograph?

Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
