Original vintage advertising poster for a solo exhibition of work by the notable Japanese graphic designer Tadanori Yokoo (b.1936) held from 22 February to 14 April 1974 at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam featuring a composition of traditional Japanese iconography and colourful abstract geometric shapes on a black background with a self-portrait of the artist blending Eastern and Western mysticism and Surrealism in a psychedelic style collage work, the title along the top and mountains along the bottom; a photo and biography of the artist's life including education, exhibitions, major awards, work, film and publications is listed on the reverse. Printed by Nefli, Haarlem. Good condition, creasing, small tears, staining, double sided.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
