Original vintage advertising poster - Bonnard Vuillard et les Nabis Musee National d'Art Moderne - for an exhibition of works by Pierre Bonnard (1867-1947), Edouard Vuillard (1868-1940) and Les Nabis (a group of young French artists in Paris active in the transition from Impressionist and academic art to more abstract art, symbolism and other modernist art movements from 1888-1900) held from 9 June to 3 October 1955. Great design depicting artwork by Bonnard created for the French art and literary magazine La Revue Blanche (1889-1903), depicting a lady with flowers in her headdress, holding a leaflet with a young boy at her side. Printed by Mourlot. Good condition, tears, pinholes, small paper losses, creasing, minor staining, pencil markings.

What is a lithograph?

Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
