Original vintage commemorative poster for the 50th anniversary of the German car manufacturer Porsche (1931-1981) featuring a colourful and informative design by Ken Rush showing 29 models of Porsche racing cars produced between 1953 and 1980 with several winners of notable races such as Le Mans 24 Hours and Daytona 24 Hours, including the Porsche 550, Porsche 917 and Porsche 911 models, with technological specifications for each model within a border, the Porsche name and logo above and in the centre with the anniversary dates: 50 Jahre Porsche Stuttgart 1931 1981. This poster was designed for a Porsche book by the automotive author and historian Karl Ludvigsen (b 1934). Founded in Stuttgart in 1931, Porsche is a German car manufacturer specialising in high performance cars; the company is now owned by Volkswagen (VW). Printed in Germany. Horizontal. Very good condition, minor creasing, small tears.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
