Original vintage travel poster published by the Italian Tourism Board ENIT for Napoli featuring a colourful design depicting the historic medieval Castel Nuovo / Maschio Angioino in Naples Campania Italy in the foreground with a scenic view towards ships in the harbour across the Bay of Naples towards Mount Vesuvius with smoke rising from the volcano into the clear blue sky above, the title in white on the green grass below with the ENIT logo. Artwork by the Italian artist Mario Puppo (1913-1989). Good condition, restored paper losses, restored tears through image, staining, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?

Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography. 

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
