Original vintage French Eastern Railway travel poster for Nancy featuring stunning artwork depicting a view of the 18th century Place Stanislas square from the back of the Fontaine de Neptune fountain and ornate golden gate with trees framing the image in the foreground, the Chemin de fer de l'Est text above and stylised title lettering below. Known as the capital of Eastern France the historic city of Nancy is located in the Lorraine region; built in the 18th century under Stanislaw Leszczynski / Stanislaus I of Poland the architecturally significant Stanislas square is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site (since 1983). Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
