Original vintage Soviet sports poster for the 22nd Summer Olympic Games / Games of the XXII Olympiad in 1980 held in Moscow Russia featuring a colourful illustration of various historic and notable buildings in Moscow Russia including the Ostankino television and radio tower, Bolshoi Ballet theatre building, the Lomonosov Moscow State University MGU (one of the Seven Sisters skyscrapers and the tallest building in Europe until 1990), the Moscow Kremlin topped by red Soviet stars and modern apartment blocks with the Moscow River and trees between the images, the bold title text and Moscow Olympic logo below. Large size. Good condition, folds, creasing.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
