Monaco Grand Prix 1966 Formula One Race
Original vintage F1 motorsport poster for the Monaco GP 1966 featuring a great design by Michael Turner (b. 1934) depicting two classic racing cars driving at speed on a picturesque waterside road with sailing boats in the harbour and the historic Prince's Palace of Monaco fortress castle on the hill in the background, the date and title in bold blue and black lettering below. Held on the street Circuit de Monaco Monte Carlo on 22 May 1966, this 24 Grand Prix Automobile event was won by the British racing driver Jackie Stewart (b. 1939) for BRM British Racing Motors with the Italian driver Lorenzo Bandini (1935-1967) for Ferrari in second place and the British racing driver Graham Hill (1929-1975) for BRM in third place. What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
