Original vintage event poster for the annual Menton Chamber Music Festival / Festival de Musique de Chambre (since 1950) featuring a colourful illustration by the Russian-born artist Constantin Terechkovitch (1902-1978) depicting a night view of the seaside town of Menton in the Cote d'Azur region on the French Riviera from the harbour with the stars shining above the medieval old town, set inside a frame with swirling angels playing music at the top, the stylised text above and below. Printed in France by Mourlot Imp. Good condition, tear in bottom margin, small folds, faint in left margin.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
