Original vintage advertising poster for the French dealer of McCormick tractors - Tracteurs McCormick Machines Agricoles R. Wallut & Cie - featuring a great farming design depicting a shiny new agricultural tractor driving up a muddy hill and working on a field with the stylised bold red lettering above and rest of the text below. Founded in 1847 McCormick was an American manufacturer of agricultural machinery and equipment that merged with Deering in 1902 to become the International Harvester Company IHC, later merged into the Argo brand. Based in Paris the French automobile and agricultural manufacturer R. Wallut et Cie (1891-1934) was the French owner and agent of the McCormick Harvesting Machine Company. Large size. Horizontal. Good condition, folds, tears, minor staining.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
