Original vintage movie poster for the re-release of the animated musical adventure family film Walt Disney's The Jungle Book (based on the 1894 book by Rudyard Kipling) plus Walt Disney productions Mickey's Christmas Carol featuring a fun and colourful cartoon illustration of the young boy Mowgli sitting on the shoulders of the Baloo the bear with Bagheera the panther and King Louie the orangutan, Kaa the python snake and Hathi the elephant behind Shere Khan the tiger lying down in the jungle trees with a monkey on the side, a smaller inset image of Scrooge McDuck, Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse with Minnie Mouse and Goofy in the snow within a Christmas wreath style border in the corner. Horizontal. Printed in England by Lonsdale and Bartholomew Ltd Nottingham. Good condition, folds, creasing, tears, minor staining.

Are your posters originals?
All our antique and vintage posters, books, maps and prints listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
