Original vintage travel advertising poster published by the Italian Tourism Board ENIT to promote the city of Bologna located in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy featuring scenic artwork by the Italian artist Severino Tremator (1895-1940) depicting the iconic Two Towers of Bologna (the Tower of the Asinelli and the Tower of the Garisenda founded in 1119) - rising over the traditional tiled roof tops of the historical city centre framed by an archway with coats of arms above, the bold title text and logos below. Printed in Italy by Barabino & Graeve, Genova. Good condition, restored paper losses on margins, restored tears, staining, creasing, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
