Original vintage advertising poster for Illustrated Bits, weekly 1D, T. H. Roberts Proprietor and Editor. The magazine was initially published under the name of Illustrated Tit-Bits, went under and was resurrected as Illustrated Bits only to go bust again in 1899. This poster was voted as the first design success of Morrow in the January 1899 issue of The Poster magazine. Great Art nouveau image of a dancer in a yellow dress with the magazine title swirling around her. Good condition, backed on paper, repaired area of loss on top middle margin, restored folds and tears.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
