Original vintage Soviet Intourist travel advertising poster - Hunting in Crimea Yalta - featuring a colourful arrow pointing down at the holiday resort city of Yalta on the Black Sea with the shape in white of a deer leaping from the Crimean Mountains against the dark background, the bold title text over the map and the Intourist logo on the side below. Formed in 1929 Интурист / Intourist was the state travel agency for foreign tourists visiting the Soviet Union. Good condition, creasing, crease marks, small tears, some discolouration.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
