The Heroes of Telemark is a 1965 British war film directed by Anthony Mann based on a true story of the World War Two sabotage of a German heavy water production plant in Norway that was to be used to build an atomic bomb, from the Skis Against the Atom memoirs by the Norwegian resistance soldier Knut Haukelid, filmed on location in Norway and starring Kirk Douglas as Dr. Rolf Pedersen and Richard Harris as the resistance fighter Knut Straud with Ulla Jacobsson and Michael Redgrave.
