Hamburg Atlantik Linie (1958-1973; 1991-1997) operated ocean liner and cruise ship services from Hamburg Germany to New York America; the company changed its name to German Atlantic Line / Deutsche Atlantik Linie in 1966 and closed down in 1973; it was reestablished as Hanseatic Tours in 1991 then merged into Hapag-Lloyd Cruises in 1997. Launched in 1930 for Canadian Pacific Steamships as the RMS Empress of Japan and renamed RMS Empress of Scotland in 1942, the ship was refitted and bought by Hamburg Atlantic Line in 1958, renamed as the TS Hanseatic to serve the transatlantic passenger route; she was scrapped after catching fire in New York harbour in 1966. Good condition, creasing, tears, pinholes, staining.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
