Original vintage poster for the Solomon R Guggenheim New York Collection art exhibition at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris held from April to June 1958 - Collection S Guggenheim New York Avril Juin 1958 Musee Des Arts Decoratifs Paris Palais du Louvre Pavillon de Marsan - featuring artwork by the notable Spanish artist and sculptor Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) depicting an abstract Cubist still life image of a mandolin and guitar / Mandoline et Guitare on a kitchen table with clouds visible through the open window in the background. This painting was one of a series of nine brightly coloured still life works of art created by Picasso in 1924-25, from the collection of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum New York. Good condition, restored tears, small restored paper loss on right edge, backed on linen.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
