Original vintage advertising poster for an art exhibition The Great Utopia The Russian and Soviet Avant-Garde 1915-1932 held at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City from 25 September to 15 December 1992. Dynamic design featuring an image of a 1930 propaganda poster by the Russian painter and designer Valentina Kulagina (1902-1987) created for International Women Workers' Day featuring two ladies working in a factory assembly line with a demonstration march depicted below, the text running vertically on both sides in white letters against red with the information text for the exhibition in the white margin below. Excellent condition, printed on thick paper.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
