Original vintage travel poster for The French Riviera / La Cote D'Azur - Artwork by French painter and poster artist Adelin Charles Morel de Tanguy (1857-1930) features the sun-drenched Mediterranean coast framed by trees and reddish rocky cliffs typical of the Esterel region. Wild green cacti and flowers cover the hillside, and white sailboats drift on the blue sea near a sprawling coastal town nestled beneath a backdrop of snow-capped mountains. Issued by the Fédération des Syndicats d'Initiative de la Côte d'Azur et de la Corse / Federation of Tourist Information Offices of the Côte d'Azur and Corsica. Good condition, restored tears, restored creasing, restored punched holes on right edge, staining, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
