Original vintage advertising poster for Ernemann cameras (founded in 1889, merged with ICA in 1926) by the notable German poster artist Ludwig Hohlwein (1874-1949): My Best Friend the Ernemann Camera / Mein Bester Freund die Ernemann Kamera. Great artwork featuring a stylishly dressed young lady sitting on the floor and holding a folding camera, the text above and below in orange and black letters. Printed in Germany by Fritz Maison, Munchen. Very good condition, stains in left margin, backed on cardboard.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
