Original vintage sport poster for the 1967 Davis Cup Group A final match between the USSR and Spain on 14 15 and 16 July in Barcelona featuring a great graphic design depicting a stylised image of a tennis player striding forward with his tennis racket against a yellow background, the text in Spanish above and below: Real Federacion Espanola de Tenis Copa Davis URSS Espana Real Club de Tenis Barcelona. The 1967 Davis Cup men's tennis tournament was won by Australia in the final Challenge Round match against Spain; the Zone A Final Spain vs. Soviet Union was played on a clay court and won by Spain. Printed in Barcelona. Good condition, restored tear, light stain, backed on linen.

What is a lithograph?

Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography. 

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
