Original antique World War One poster encouraging men to enlist in the army: Come Now – Your arms, uniform and accoutrements are ready waiting for you [Lord Kitchener speaking at Guildhall on 9 July 1915] – Be honest with yourself. Great design featuring a soldier's brand new uniform with a coat, hat, bag, shoes and gun hanging on the wall, waiting for its new owner with the text down the left and below in stylised red and black letters, the quote by Kitchener in the centre. Field Marshal Horatio Herbert Kitchener 1st Earl Kitchener (1850-1916) was a decorated British Army Officer who served in the Army from 1871 and as Secretary of State for War from 1914 until his death in 1916 when his ship, HMS Hampshire, struck a German mine; in 1915 he spoke at the Guildhall appealing for more recruits to enlist. Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
