Original vintage car advertising poster for Chevrolet – the most elegant of the small cars / der eleganteste der kleinen wagen. Great artwork by Emerich Huber (1903-1979) of a lady wearing a yellow Georgian period dress with two children wearing Middle Eastern style costumes with pointed shoes and turbans holding extended feather fans next to a peacock looking up at the lady, a Chevrolet classic car (possibly a 22 Chevrolet Series 490 Coupe) in front of a decorative gate to a house with trees growing over the walls set inside a circle in the background under a red, white and blue Chevrolet logo. Chevrolet (known as Chevy) was founded in 1911 and is part of General Motors. Large size. Good condition, restored paper losses in margin, restored tears, staining, foxing on margin, backed on linen.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
