British Weapons To Defeat Hitler WWII
Original vintage World War Two poster - Des Armes Britanniques pour Vaincre Hitler / British Weapons to Defeat Hitler - featuring artwork of a tank firing a gun in front of a palm tree with two smaller images showing a tank next to an elephant to emphasise its size bigger than an elephant (Plus gros qu'un elephant) and next to a galloping horse to demonstrate its speed faster than a horse (Plus rapide qu'un cheval), the bold title above and a Union Jack flag below with the information text in the centre - Here is a tank. Tanks are moving forts, invented by Britain during the last war. They are covered in thick steel armour and equipped with powerful cannon and machine guns. Tanks can move quickly over any terrain, crushing everything in their path. The tank is much bigger and heavier than an elephant, much more dangerous too! Despite its bulk and weight, it is, in battle, faster than a horse. Great Britain builds 30,000 tanks to destroy its enemies. Good condition, minor creasing, small tears on edges.

FAQs
More information about our posters and service.
Are your posters originals?
All our antique and vintage posters, books, maps and prints listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.

Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
